The Nigerian military is currently conducting a mass burial for soldiers who lost their lives in an ambush and an airplane crash in the state of Niger.
On August 14, 2023, bandits ambushed the troops in Niger State, killing 14 soldiers and injuring 7.
The Air Force evacuation aircraft had to be sent out as a result of the incident.
Nevertheless, it was reported that the plane crashed, killing all of the occupants—two pilots, two crew members, and all of the passengers.
The events scheduled, as seen by our correspondent, are those for burial.
