It all began when a verified Wizkid fan account, belonging to the “Wizkid FC” group, posted a mysterious message about the star’s plans for the next day.
Yemi Alade noticed the post and promptly replied, possibly thinking she was interacting with the real Wizkid.
Fans who came across this interaction reacted to it, and a screenshot of the exchange started circulating and became a trend.
One user’s comment caught a lot of attention. They insulted the “Johnny,” crooner suggesting that they believed they were actually talking to Wizkid himself.
