Mixed reaction as Stanley Ontop splashes N25 million on Mercedez Benz

Nigerian filmmaker and human rights advocate Stanley Nwoke, known as Ontop, faced heavy backlash after a video of him celebrating his new car became popular online.

The social media influencer was one of the first to share the news of Nollywood actor Junior Pope’s passing.

Many online users criticized Stanley Ontop for discussing Junior Pope’s death on Facebook Live while the actor was still in the hospital fighting for his life.

The actor who’s now a humanitarian posted a video of his new car on his page, along with a heartfelt message reflecting on his modest roots.

He reminisced about the days when he and his mom would sell pure water and Akara, pushing a wheelbarrow through the streets of Abuja to make ends meet.

In other news, A young Nigerian music artist, Sulaimon Shekoni Solomon, known as Kahid, made people laugh on social media with a tweet about Idris Okuneye, also called Bobrisky.

In his tweet, Kahid mentioned that he urgently needed the crossdresser for a role in his music video.

Another user replied by suggesting James Brown as a substitute. They shared a dance video of James and claimed he would be a better choice.

The user added that James Brown would cost less, charging no more than N150K.

Khaid wrote: “Somebody get me Bobrisky, i wan use am for music video asap.”
