Nollywood star Alex Ekubo is making headlines again after a new video surfaced of him with May Edochie at the movie premiere of well-known actress Omoni Oboli.

On Sunday, October 13th, 2023, Omoni Oboli hosted the premiere of her film titled ‘The Uprising Wives On Strike 3,’ which attracted many prominent figures from the Nollywood scene.

Meanwhile, May Edochie, the estranged wife of actor Yul Edochie, posted a vlog on her verified Instagram account on October 15th, 2024, discussing her experience at the premiere.

The main highlight of the video was when Alex Ekubo and his friend IK Ogbonna approached May Edochie. IK Ogbonna started by giving May Edochie a warm hug, and that was just the start.

Alex Ekubo then hugged May Edochie over and over again, making it seem like he hugged her a million times, which got a lot of reactions from people online.

This isn’t the first time Alex Ekubo and May Edochie have sparked romance rumors. In July 2024, a video went viral showing Alex Ekubo holding onto May Edochie as they hugged repeatedly at an event.
