Police Reveals Why Mohbad’s Body Is Yet to Be Exhumed

Idowu Owohunwa, the commissioner of the Lagos State Police Command, is scheduled to speak to the press today about the ongoing inquiry into the passing of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, better known by her stage name Mohbad.

The press conference is set to begin at the Command Headquarters in Ikeja at 3 p.m.

The commissioner is anticipated to provide updates on any arrests and invitations issued by the police as part of the ongoing investigation.

SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Public Relations Officer, told reporters that the briefing was for the media.

According to Hundeyin, “The CP will be speaking to the media Today at 3 p. m. Bring your inquiries, and he will respond to them all. I am unable to speak until then.

In response to a question about whether or not the police would question the late singer’s wife, Wunmi, after the arrest of Mohbad’s friend, singer Owodunni Ibrahim, also known as Prime Boy, the PRO made this information known.

Recall that on Wednesday, the police obtained a remand warrant to extend the 48-hour constitutional detention period for the embattled singer Azeez Fashola, also known as Naira Marley, and a contentious music promoter named Balogun Eletu, also known as Sam Larry, as part of an ongoing investigation into the death of Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka Mohbad.
