Naira Marley stated in an alleged statement from his legal team that he’s all set to square off in court with musician and music producer K-Solo. K-Solo and two other actresses, according to Naira’s team, were the ringleaders of a smear campaign against Marlian Boss, flinging unsubstantiated and misleading claims.
Afeez Fashola, better known as Naira Marley, the Nigerian rap maestro and music mogul, has put on his armor to defend both his reputation and brand.
Naira Marley stated in an alleged statement from his legal team that he’s all set to square off in court with musician and music producer K-Solo.
The Soapy crooner’s lawyers stated their reasons for initiating a case against K-Solo, stating that it was on libelous grounds.
K-Solo made several charges against the rapper during an interview on the show Rubbin’ Minds, according to the singer’s legal team. Ksolo stated that Naira Marley cannot claim he had no involvement in the death of his signee, Mohbad.
In the interview aired on September 17, K-Solo said;
“Naira Marley is involved [in Mohbad’s death]. He cannot tell me he is not involved. He has a hand in his death.” These claims, without any substantial evidence (developments have clearly shown Naira is not directly or remotely connected to his death) have caused serious damage to Naira Marley’s reputation.”
K-Solo and two other actresses, according to Naira’s team, were the ringleaders of a smear campaign against Marlian Boss, flinging unsubstantiated and misleading claims.
Many have pointed out that the actresses mentioned in the public declaration are actually Nollywood giants Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh. This link derives from their previous accusation against Naira Marley and his accomplice, Sammy Larry.
However, it should be noted that neither of the actresses’ names were included in the statement.
The statement reads in part;
‘’The legal team representing Naira Marley will be initiating legal action against K-Solo for defamation of character. It is essential to emphasize that making unfounded allegations and false statements can have far-reaching consequences.
Accusations of this nature not only tarnish the image of the accused but also perpetuate baseless claims that have spread like wildfire because elements like K-Solo and others (especially two known actresses) have speared head of the campaign of calumny against the person of Naira for reasons best known to them.”
