Shubomi Marley, Naira Marley’s sister, took to Twitter to give her thoughts on the controversial death of Nigerian singer Mohbad.
The death of the emerging artist has sparked widespread hypotheses, with many Nigerians accusing Naira Marley and his entourage of being involved.
Shubomi, on the other hand, has now weighed in.
Shubomi made it clear in a series of tweets that she thought Mohbad’s death was tragic, but she fiercely blasted Nigerians who have been eager to lay fingers at her brother and his colleagues.
She emphasized that Mohbad’s difficulties extended much beyond his professional disagreements with Naira Marley and the Marlian record label.
Shubomi’s tweets included a heartfelt recollection of a dark moment in Mohbad’s life when he had contemplated suicide, only to be saved by his girlfriend.
In Shubomi’s words;
“Mohbad was having a lot going on with him, even aside the issues he had with Marley& Marlian record Label, I remember when he almost committed suicide thanks to his gf who intervened but calling or pointing hands to Marley is uncalled for, you all should know where to draw the line”.
