Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, better known as Mohbad, was a singer, and his death has caused an outpouring of unrest to take place on social media.
The late singer’s family has been shown in viral videos attempting to seize his assets, which are now in the possession of his wife Omowunmi.
An older person who appeared to be a relative of Mohbad expressed worries about putting their trust in the singer’s wife in one of these films.
A lady who identified herself as Mohbad’s sister-in-law posted a video provided detailed information regarding a conflict between the singer’s father and his mother-in-law over the deceased’s land.
She said:
“He took the land from Mohbad before he died. He was buried on the land.”
In order to prevent Nigerians from paying their final respects before hastily burying him, Mohbad’s sister-in-law questioned why the singer’s family decided not to offer him a dignified burial at a suitable cemetery.
She fervently begged Mohbad’s family not to unfairly single out his wife, admonishing them of her innocence in his passing.
“We after his wife’s safety. She knows things about his death,” she said.
