The mother of the late Nigerian musician Mohbad made a surprising and emotional disclosure, accusing his partner, Wunmi, of treachery.
In a viral audio discussion circulating online, she voiced her extreme sadness and disappointment, alleging that Wunmi covertly took all of Mohbad’s personal stuff from his home without alerting her or Mohbad’s younger brother.
The bereaved mother said that she had supported Wunmi during the tough period after Mohbad’s death, only to be met with dishonesty and disdain.
She said that Wunmi’s actions were a blatant breach of trust, and she anticipated greater empathy and honesty from someone who was meant to be close to her and her family.
When asked about her conduct, Wunmi allegedly reacted with verbal abuse, worsening the issue and inflicting further agony to Mohbad’s mother.
The mother’s tearful disclosure has caused considerable indignation and compassion on social media, with many demanding that Wunmi be held responsible for her conduct.
“Wunmi has Betrayed Me, after I stood by her all this while, She went behind My back and Parked All Mohbad’s Belongings from his house without telling Anybody including me and Mohbad’s kid brother, after I Confronted her about it she started raining abuses on me” – she said
