Mohbad’s Wife, Wunmi, Opens Up on Events Leading to His Death

Wunmi, the grieving wife of late singer Mohbad, has finally shared a detailed account of what happened before his tragic passing.

Speaking on TVC’s Your View, she recounted how a nurse was called in to treat his wounds, but after receiving multiple injections, Mohbad reacted badly, leading to his sudden demise.

What Happened?

According to Wunmi, on that fateful day, she was in the kitchen preparing for their son Liam’s five-month celebration when the nurse arrived at 2 p.m. She followed the nurse upstairs to the master bedroom, where the treatment took place due to space constraints.

“The nurse examined the wounded part, and I informed her that my husband was an ulcer patient, so she should be careful with what she administered.”

The nurse gave Mohbad three injections, but it was the third one that triggered an instant reaction.

“After the third injection, he immediately asked the nurse to take it out, saying he needed to throw up and urinate.”

Mohbad rushed to the restroom, where he vomited and urinated, but upon returning, his condition worsened.

“He suddenly fell and started screaming for water, saying his heart was burning.”

They poured water on him, and he asked for the air conditioner as he felt an unbearable internal heat.

He started experiencing goosebumps and continued vomiting.

They moved him to their son’s room, hoping the AC would help, but he remained restless.

With no functional car, they sought help from a neighbor and rushed him to the hospital on a bike due to traffic.

Sadly, upon arrival, the doctor pronounced him dead.

Mohbad’s death on September 12, 2023, shocked fans, sparking protests and investigations into the circumstances surrounding his passing. Many have continued to demand justice, questioning whether foul play was involved.
