A lighthearted moment at the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) has gone viral after a student captured an unexpectedly fun encounter with a lecturer during a casual TikTok recording.
The student, known on TikTok as @just_aliza01, was filming herself dancing on a staircase within one of the university buildings when she noticed a lecturer approaching. Respectfully, she paused her dance to let him pass. To her surprise, instead of ignoring the camera or reacting sternly, the lecturer glanced at the lens, gently stroked his eyebrow, and playfully joined the moment—transitioning from serious to stylish in a second.
The clip quickly spread across social media, with many praising the lecturer, affectionately dubbed “Dr Steeze,” for his cool and composed demeanor.
Adding a humorous twist, the student referenced a previous viral controversy from Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), where a student was expelled over a video involving a lecturer. Her caption read: “POV: I almost got ‘Uniziked,’ but it was Dr Steeze,” highlighting the contrast in outcomes.
