Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, received honorary recognition at the ongoing RCCG redemption camp on Friday, August 12, 2022.
The politician attended the 70th annual convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God at the Redemption City.
“We welcome to the Redemption Camp for the first time Mr. Peter Obi,” the announcer stated while welcoming the ex-governor.
This was followed by a loud cheer from the congregation of believers who had gathered from different parts of the country.
Other notable individuals at the RCCG convention were Akwa Ibom State Governor Udom Emmanuel and the Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, who was represented by his wife.
It would be recalled that a weeks ago, the aspirant attended Dunamis’ fellowship which he confirmed in a tweet, “I spent an uplifting and exhilarating 8 hours of fellowship amongst fellow Nigerians @DunamisGospel 2022 Mid Year Praise and Worship, with @DrPaulEnenche, his family and other dignitaries. I used that auspicious occasion to thank God.”
