Nollywood actor Timini Egbuson has stated that numerous women have transformed romantic relationships into a means of financial gain.
He elaborated that this phenomenon contributes to the perception among affluent men that women hold little intrinsic value, as they can readily obtain multiple partners.
Egbuson emphasized that many women tend to believe that men demonstrate affection through extravagant expenditures, although this is not universally true.
He shared these insights during a recent interview with TVC, which was published on X on Saturday.
“The nonchalant attitude of some men is because there are a lot of women accessible to them. You know, once you have money, you have a lot of options. And that is also because a lot of women have monetized dating.
“Some men know that when they spend lavishly on a lady, she would think they are in love with her. But that is not love because he’s a billionaire, he can afford to do the same thing for hundreds of girls,” he said.
In related news, Nigerian actor Timini Egbuson, who has received numerous accolades, has been recognized as the top actor on Top Charts Africa’s list of the 24 Most Impactful African Actors for 2024. In addition to this honor, he has also been included in the publication’s ranking of the top 100 most influential individuals of the year.

The list also features prominent personalities such as Mo Abudu, Larry Madowo, Obi Asika, Jade Osiberu, Tara Durotoye, and William Troost-Ekong, among others. Timini is celebrated for his dynamic screen presence, with his lively performances resonating with audiences throughout the continent.
