Nigerians refused to let go of Damini Ogulu, also known as Burna Boy, after he was accused of failing to participate in the ongoing ‘End Bad Governance’ protests.
Following his previous meeting with FCT minister Nyesom Wike, the musician was accused of being Allies with the government.
It is not surprising that Nyesom Wike recognized the Porthacourt-born music artist after winning the Grammy Award for Best Global Music Album.
His mother revealed that her son was also promised landed properties, which he claims were never fulfilled. To further clear Nigerians’ doubt, the singer’s mother, Bose Ogulu, spoke up about the matter while she was a guest on Channels TV.
According to her, no money was given to Burna Boy because he was honored and not invited to perform.
She went on to say that her son was honored since he received the highest Award in his field.
