Nollywood celebrities have come under fire from well-known social media critic Martins Vincent Otse, also known online as Very Dark Man, for their apparent lack of concern for their sick senior colleague, Mr. Ibu.
Very Dark Man has responded to Mr Ibu’s wife’s shocking admission that the Actors Guild of Nigeria hasn’t been standing by her spouse.
He maintained that the guild lacked structure, as he had first claimed, which is why Nollywood celebrities attacked him personally over his assertion.
Speaking to his assailants, he said that many of them were lying and trying to gain influence by exploiting the actor’s illness, but he could also see why they were attacking him.
“Actors Guide of Nigeria (Most Nollywood actors) are lying and using Mr Ibu to chase clout. No wonder they were picking on me”.
He added, “To the people that attacked me on Mr Ibu’s issue. Can y’all see what Me Ibu’s wife is saying. Oju aye”.
According to GISTLOVER, Stella Maris, the wife of Mr. Ibu, criticized the AGN for their lack of backing for her husband in a widely shared video.
She asserted that the Guild’s statement was entirely false, and they just released it to save face.
She disclosed that prior to her husband’s health issue, she had not received any support from the union and that her attempts to contact the Actors Guild had been unsuccessful.
