Moyo Lawal, a well-known Nollywood actress, educated her fans who advised her to stop bleaching her skin, warning about the risk of becoming transparent in the future.
She posted a video showcasing her flawless skin to her three million followers. Some praised her beauty, while others worried about the consequences of her skin-lightening journey.
“Hanty you Dey fade ooo, you’re becoming transparent,” a concerned fan wrote.
In response, Moyo Lawal insisted that she aimed to turn transparent and use it to her advantage.
“so I can become a ghost now 😒appearing and disappearing,” she responded.
Another user said, “Please next time try dey put Viewers discretion 😂.”
Another wrote, “You bleach too much try reduce this your bleaching cream you don turn Micheal Jackson finish.”
Others, however, defended the actress by expressing the mental health implications of the negative comments which may someday lead to depression.
“When she falls into depression just know that you🫵 are among for your b@d comments. So someone can’t breathe again?!” a fan wrote.
Another added, “why do you always think everyone d are fair in complexion bleach der skin , is it that you’re pained that God does give you such fair nd beautiful skin .? Or what.?”
