Nigerian artist Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, also known as Mr Eazi, has become a trending topic on the social media site X following a grammatical blunder in a tweet.
The “Leg Over” coroner, noted for his distinct blend of Afrobeat and reggae, was expressing his enthusiasm for his colleague Rema’s current hit, “March Am.”
Mr Eazi wanted to mention the song’s title in his post, but mistakenly wrote “match” instead of “march.”
The singer wrote:
“I dey match, I dey match,”
The tweet quickly caught the attention of his followers, sparking a flurry of reactions online.
One of Mr Eazi’s fans humorously pointed out the mistake.
“I for tell you say your spelling wrong but who I be?,” the fan wrote.
The exchange, along with the first tweet, sparked tremendous interaction on the platform. Fans and followers reacted to the mix-up.
