  • The entertainer, through tweets on his official X page, reassured Nigerians that despite political changes, the country would remain.

Nigerian comedian Adebowale ‘Debo’ Adebayo, known as Mr. Macaroni, has criticized Nigerians who endorse corrupt politicians.

In a series of tweets on his official X account (formerly Twitter), the outspoken entertainer emphasized that while politicians may change, the nation itself endures.

He pointed out that supporting corrupt politicians, regardless of the justification, exacerbates the existing issues within the system and diminishes the prospects for improvement.

“Politicians will come and go! The only constant thing is the country!” Mr Macaroni declared. “When you support corrupt politicians for whatever reason, you contribute to the rot in the system and reduce any tiny chance to make things better. You are a traitor, and you have no shred of dignity, ” Mr. Macaroni wrote.
