Ugo Nwokolo, the reigning Mr. Nigeria, is in the spotlight after addressing a controversial remark he made on the Honest Bunch Podcast about his ideal type of women.
His appearance on the popular podcast sparked significant debate, as he claimed that he finds “poor girls” more appealing. He mentioned that the less money a woman has, the more attracted he feels to her.
His comments upset a lot of people online, who condemned him for making fun of women in such a way.
Recently, Lucky Udu, a famous social media personality, asked Ugo to come on his show to explain his side. Ugo revealed that Nedu Wazobia had pressured him into making that remark to ensure his episode would go viral. Nedu advised him to sound silly to resonate with Nigerians.
Ugo Nwokolo said that this statement nearly destroyed his career and caused him to fall into depression. He also noted that Nedu asked him for N5 million to let him join the podcast.
