Nigerian artist Peter Okoye, known as Mr P and part of the P-Square duo, has excited fans online with the launch of two new songs, “Winning” and “Attention,” after being quiet for a while.

He surprised everyone by posting clips of the tracks early on Friday, November 8, and confirmed they are now on all major streaming services.

Mr P also mentioned that the music video for “Winning” would be released later that day at 2 pm on YouTube.

The excitement quickly turned to controversy when Mr. P’s twin brother, Paul Okoye (known as Rudeboy), accused him of stealing his ideas for the song “Winning.”

Rudeboy stated that he was the true writer and singer of the song, and he was surprised that the same producer worked on Mr. P’s new version.
