A Nigerian woman’s troubling experience with a theft at her home has prompted a strong response of sympathy from social media users.
Residing in an unfinished building, she shared that thieves accessed her home through the incomplete roof.
The victim, identified as @okingeneration3011 on TikTok, posted a poignant video showing the chaos left after the break-in.
The video revealed her belongings in disarray and her children appearing distressed outside.
In her message, she sought assistance, explaining that the thieves had taken important items like her ATM card and phones.
She said, “I have to go borrow money buy phone now so that my children will not die of hunger. Everybody please help me o. Some thieves came to the house and climbed this block and entered through the roof. They carried my ATM, two phones. Please help me o. My children have not eaten.”
Many people offered to help her financially to ease her situation.
