Music: D’Banj – Stress Free (Chapter One)

D’Banj, a highly rated Nigerian recording artiste and CEO of DB Record has delivered a new body of work christened; “Stress Free (Chapter One)”.

The latest project happens to be his first official release in the month of October. ‘Stress Free (Chapter One)’ comes in a package of solid and mind blowing tracks.

The collective, which is a blend of Afrobeats and Amapiano had vocal assistance from Grammy Award winner, Burna Boy, Seun Kuti, Egypt 80 (Fela Kuti’s band, led by his son Seun Kuti) alongside Cheekychizzy.

Real name Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, he adopted the stage name D’banj, a combination of his first name, Dapo and his surname, Oyebanjo. D’banj is known internationally for his chart topping hit song “Oliver Twist” which was released in 2012.

He has won several music awards, including; Best African Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards, artiste of the year at the MTV Africa Music Awards, Best International Act: Africa at the 2011 BET Awards, best-selling African artiste at the 2014 World Music Awards among others.
