Prominent Isoko highlife artist, Dr. Arube Otor, widely recognized as Isoko Fela, has captivated the public with his ambitious aspiration to father 32 children, having recently married three wives in a single day.

At the age of 53, and already a father of nine, Otor took a significant step towards achieving his goal by uniting with three women in a lavish ceremony on Sunday, January 18, 2025, in Uzere, Delta State. The celebration took place at the Anglican Church Field London Base in Uzere Kingdom, marking a joyous occasion as Otor welcomed his three new wives, thereby increasing his total to four.

“I want to have 32 children, and until I realize that dream, I won’t leave this earth,” Otor stated with conviction.

Having been raised in a polygamous family, Otor attributes his comfort with this lifestyle to his upbringing. “Polygamy was never a problem in our home. We bonded well and still maintain a healthy relationship,” he shared.

In a bid to be economical, Otor organized a single reception for his new wives, clarifying, “I’ve already paid their bride prices, and we’ve been living together. The event is just a reception. Members of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria will provide music, and refreshments are finalized. It will be a big day.”

He also disclosed his intention to further expand his family by marrying two additional wives in the near future, emphasizing the peaceful atmosphere within his home.

“If there’s a dispute, I mediate in the presence of the others so everyone learns from the resolution. My wives are independent; one is a hairdresser, another a caterer, and one a trader,” he noted.

Despite his age, Otor expresses confidence in his capacity to meet his marital obligations, attributing his vigor to a wholesome diet.

“I don’t eat rice because it weakens a man. My diet keeps me fit and ready. I visit my wives weekly, and none of them feels neglected,” he added, noting that he completely steers clear of aphrodisiacs.
