Ghanaian Dancehall musician Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., popularly known as Shatta Wale says that his biggest regret in life is not being able to pursue a legal profession.
The self-described “African Dancehall King” acknowledged that he is not entirely content despite being a multi-award-winning musician.
“My biggest regret in life is that I didn’t become a lawyer,” Shatta Wale said in a recent interview with Stefania Okereke of the BBC.
He went on to add that, although he is still considering it, he intends to hire legal counsel “once I have earned enough money.” He made it apparent that he intended to pursue a career in law, despite his current level of notoriety as a musician.
Additionally, Shatta Wale mentioned that he perceives himself as a “nice guy,” even though he acknowledges that not everyone sees him that way.
