Sophia Momodu, the mother of Davido’s daughter Imade, shared a series of messages on Snapchat recently that have gone viral and left internet users abuzz with rumors and worry.
Imade expressed her love and appreciation for her grandmother in a sincere, albeit rather cryptic, note.
Her statement of sadness over the death of her half-brother, the kid of Davido and his current wife, Chioma, was the discovery that attracted the most attention, though.
Imade’s admission that her father, Davido, had been noticeably absent from her life lately, causing her great sadness, attracted special attention.
Imade continued by listing her close friends, including Tiwa Savage’s son Jamil, who received special attention.
“I love you so much grandma but you know I’ve been really disappointed since my brother died and I need somebody… My dad wasn’t there when I needed him,” Imade’s message reads in part.
In response to the post, Sophia Momodu said she was curious about the person who taught her child how to write such complex phrases.
Her hilarious complaint that she wasn’t on Imade’s list of friends made her fans laugh.
But rumors started to spread that Sophia might have purposefully avoided talking about Davido’s absence, which might have heightened tensions.
