Renowned Afrobeat artist Davido has expressed his thoughts on his father’s generous donation of N1 billion to a church.
Reports indicate that Davido’s father, Adedeji Adeleke, made this significant contribution on Sunday to support the Centenary Endowment Fund of the Cherubim and Seraphim (C&S) Church.
The donation was made in honor of his late wife and Davido’s mother, Esther Adeleke, during a memorial service held at the church’s headquarters in Lagos.
In response to a widely circulated video of the event on Tunde Ednut’s comment section, Davido shared that his father has a passion for supporting both the church and educational initiatives.
He remarked, “Anything Church or education, no worry, you don cash out.”
Additionally, the artist took to his Instagram story to express his admiration, stating, “My dear father inspires me every day! Love this man right here.”
