“My ex-husband once told me he’s not my friend; that he’s my lord” – Etinosa recounts ordeal

Etinosa Idemudia, a popular Nollywood actress, recounts her ex-husband’s domestic abuse with tears in her eyes.

During an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, the screen diva opened up about her traumatic previous marriage.

She revealed that she married at the age of 22 without knowing what she was getting herself into.

Her husband, she claimed, had mistreated her and controlled everything.

Etinosa said, “I was green, I no know anything. I was a mumu. I was 22 when I got married. My husband told me that ‘I’m not your friend, I’m your lord’.

“His [my ex-husband’s] uncle called me when I was in the clinic. I was receiving treatment because the night before, they tied me up. I went through a lot the night before. So, I just said this is the end before I will die. I fasted. Ulcer nearly killed me. Fasting, praying.

At this point, Jideowo interjected with the question: “So there was physical violence?”

She said:

“Wetin dey break person bone? Wetin dey carry person go hospital wey dem put oxygen for your nose?

“As tall as you are now, he [my ex-husband] is very… I don’t like short men. I like big people, I want to feel protected [laughs]. So, that kind one blow like this. If he slaps sef, shu!”

“I am hurt”- Actress Etinosa Idemudia laments as cinemas reject her film

Actress Etinosa Idemudia has cried out over the minor setback she is experiencing in her movie career.

The single mother of two took to her Instagram page moments ago to lament over how many cinemas had rejected her film.

Revealing their reasons, she stated that they perceived the actress does not have money to do worldwide publicity for her movies.

“A few cinemas have rejected my film Not because it is a bad film. But because they perceive I do not have money to do worldwide publicity. I am hurt but I understand this is business. It’s not personal. I will continue to do my best and live within my means.

Lashing out at journalists, Etinosa wrote, “You post bad stuff about me for free. Yet when I want to make a living and make a difference in life you slam me with a bill. Nice one. Dear sister press Screening invites are going out this week to all journalists. Pls DM me for yours. Thanks”.
