Afrobeats artist Michael Adebayo Olayinka, known as Ruger, has opened up about his love life and relationships.
He shared that he struggles to connect emotionally with women due to past experiences that have made it hard for him to love again.
Ruger mentioned that his romantic life has taken a toll, leaving him feeling numb and detached from his feelings.
He admitted that he no longer experiences emotions like before, describing his heart “cold.”
“My love life is f*cked up… I can’t love again. My heart is cold. I don’t feel anything again,” Ruger lamented.
Recall that Ruger had earlier shared that he is capable of loving five women simultaneously. He mentioned that he can love multiple women with equal passion.
Ruger explained that he often falls deeply in love, and simple acts like gifts and kind words can win his heart.
In an interview with The Beat 99.9 FM Lagos, he stressed that his emotions are real and not just fleeting feelings.
In his words:
“I can fall in love with five different women at the same time. I don’t know if it’s possible for others but I can do it. And I will actually love them, not infatuation,” he said.
“It’s just easy for me to fall in love. Gifts and compliments make me develop feelings for ladies. I really appreciate gifts and compliments.”
Ruger also explained his music style, noting that although he experiments with different genres, his heart is in Afrobeats. “I can do every other thing [genre of music] but I am an Afrobeats artiste,” he stated.
