Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, known as Bobrisky, is thrilled about the acceptance he has found in the UK.
He shared that his ID and insurance cards there list him as female, something he believes could never happen in Nigeria.
He showed appreciation for the confidence and voice that UK culture has given him, noting that he feels more confident than he ever has. Bobrisky also pointed out that he no longer cares about the opinions of Africans who disapprove of his way of life.
He has embraced the inclusive values of Western culture, claiming that his mindset now reflects the progressive thoughts of the West.
He said: “My id card and insurance id in dis country carry FEMALE Dis country gave me a voice and what Nigeria can never give me even if i live there 100yrs. My confidence level is 100. Thank you.I don’t care what the African think of me. My brain now work with the western world”.
