Personality on the air Do2dtun took to social media to express his feelings about his own family separation, drawing parallels to comedian Buchi’s recent reconciliation with his ex-in-laws.
Do2dtun, real name Oladotun Ojuolape Kayode, revealed on social media that, like comedian Buchi, he has struggled to keep a relationship with his children.
Buchi had previously expressed gratitude to his ex-in-laws for allowing him access to his children.
Do2dtun, who is known for being open about his personal struggles, expressed his thoughts on the subject.
In a social media post, he referred to his in-laws as “principalities and powers,” implying how difficult his relationship with them is.
He praised Buchi’s success while emphasising that his own journey is still ongoing.
Do2dtun expressed satisfaction in his silence, implying that his in-laws believe they have won due to his lack of public comment on the issue.
He finished by criticising the use of children as weapons in family disputes, claiming that it demonstrates a lack of genuine love for the children involved.
In response to Do2dtun’s post, Buchi expressed sympathy and encouragement. He recognised the individuality of each person’s situation and expressed sympathy for Do2dtun’s suffering.
In the words of Do2dtun;
“We thank God and I am happy for you. I am still on my journey. My own na real principalities and powers wey no reach God own. I love the fact they think my silence means they’ve won…. I just Dey start. Make them eat the children and I hope e go belle full them. Using kids as weapons shows you don’t love the kids.”
In response, Buchi wrote;
“Brother .. nobody fit advice u right.. nobody know ur pain as it is.. We can’t stop.. Blood is Life!
