In a recent discussion with Cheche Smith on Wazobia FM, Paul Okoye, known as Rudeboy, revealed his focus on his solo career. This represents a significant change from his previous role in the famous duo P-Square alongside his twin brother, Peter Okoye.

He emphasized that while music initially united them, his creative vision has diverged from his brother’s. “This is the same voice, same me,” he stated, adding that he no longer hides his intentions. “I am here for Rudeboy. If you bring up P-Square, I’ll tell you there’s nothing like that—no P-Square for now.”

Rudeboy recognized that fans might have been disappointed when he briefly returned to P-Square last year. He emphasized that his main focus now is his solo career as “Rudeboy.“

He also mentioned feeling like he “wasted” time by not promoting his personal brand earlier. Nevertheless, he promised fans that he is committed to releasing new music and expanding the Rudeboy brand in the future.
