In a recent development in the Mohbad case, Prime Boy’s mother has come forth to appeal to Nigerians in an emotive way, claiming her son’s innocence in the unfortunate circumstances that led to Mohbad’s murder. A web of intrigue, mistrust, and unresolved questions emerges as the story develops.
Mohbad and Prime Boy were more than simply pals; they were like family. During Mohbad’s life, Prime Boy’s mother treated the two boys as if they were her own sons, highlighting the close relationship between the two boys.
She firmly asserted that because of their close bond, her son Prime Boy would never do anything to harm Mohbad.
When Prime Boy had been listed as a wanted man by the police, the narrative took a dark turn.
Prime Boy is said to have been one of Mohbad’s last companions before his sad death.
Prime Boy himself shared a terrible video of him in a car with Mohbad’s lifeless body next to him.
Following the release of this video, Prime Boy vanished, leaving online users asking questions about his location.
Prime Boy was sought for after the authorities repeatedly asked for his presence at the police station to aid their investigation, but he eluded capture.
However, a day after being listed as wanted, Prime Boy willingly turned himself in to the police for questioning.
Prime Boy’s answers during questioning added a further level of complication to the situation.
He claimed that Mohbad and his wife had a turbulent relationship and that Mohbad had beaten him before his death for intervening to settle their differences.
Prime Boy insisted on his innocence and denied having any part in Mohbad’s demise.
Notably, the police had already named a key suspect in Mohbad’s death—a supposed assistant nurse who was charged with injecting him and reportedly causing his terrible demise. The identity of this auxiliary nurse is still unknown, though.
Prime Boy’s mother made a sincere appeal to Nigerians, pleading with them to be cautious and refrain from passing judgment on her son.
Given the complexity of the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death, it is crucial to let the inquiry take its course.
