On social media, a young man recalled how his thirty-year-old, unemployed ex-girlfriend wanted to spend N5 million on an Apple Watch and a Brazilian wig.
The man posted this information on Twitter under the handle @MgajiInnocent, where other men were discussing their dating experiences with other ladies.
He was once really interested in cryptocurrency, and he made a lot of money during the boom.
He asked his then-girlfriend, who he had been dating for two months, what she would do with five million naira.
She was going to purchase an Apple watch and a Brazilian wig, much to his utter dismay.
He described how she was unemployed at the time and continued to live with her parents.
He claims he continued to try to find her a position with Nigerian customs, where she would have made $110,000 a month, but she turned him down, saying the work was too hard.
She said she was too sensitive and soft for him to ask her to select a business that she could fund, despite his love for her still being the basis for his request.
He could not become the unteachable liability, so he had to leave her.
