After surviving a horrific tragedy involving the collapse of a petrol-laden tanker on their car, a young Nigerian man expresses thankfulness.
X, a microblogging platform user, described how he and his wife were nearly killed in a fuel tanker accident.
According to the man, a fully laden truck collided with their automobile, trapping them inside for about an hour.
When rescue arrived, he and his wife walked out alive and well, with no bones crushed despite the weight of the truck.
“I haven’t tweeted about this before. On the 6th of October, while driving home, our car was rammed into by a tanker fully laden with petrol. The tanker head fell on us, and we got trapped for over one hour. My wife and I walked out of this scene without a broken bone,” he wrote.
According to the images from the accident scene, both automobiles involved in the disaster were smashed beyond repair.
Netizens have since celebrated the man and his wife for avoiding such a life-threatening circumstance and emerging unscathed despite the severity of the disaster.
