My World Has Crashed – Wale Ojo Weeps Bitterly Over Loss of His Mother

Wale Ojo, an award-winning movie actor, has announced the passing away of his mother.

On Saturday, June 1, the British Nigerian celebrity posted a snapshot of himself and his mother on Instagram, claiming that his world had crashed.

Wale Ojo expressed his anguish, saying he will miss his mother tremendously. He wrote:

“My world has crashed all around me. Mama is gone. Goodnight Mum. I will miss you terribly, terribly.”

Wale Ojo won Best Actor at the 2024 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Award (AMVCA), which was held on May 11 at the Eko Hotel and Suites.

The 55-year-old won the award for his performance in Breath of Life.

After winning, he posted a selfie of himself on Instagram with the caption, “Mama I won”.

In related news, Nigerian television presenter and filmmaker Stephanie Coker Aderinokun has opened up on her struggle with Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and how it affected her.

In a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Coker spoke about the life-threatening nature of her PCOS diagnosis.

She spoke about how she conceived her first child, Ariella, via IVF and her attempt to conceive a second child via that same route.

According to her, she spent over $40,000 and had traveled to Los Angeles for an IVF operation last year, which unfortunately failed. She further disclosed that after the failed IVF she called her friend stating that she felt the baby rejected her.

Coker told Jideonwo that she felt very rejected after the failed IVF and even suicidal, confessing that she once contemplated stepping in front of a moving car.
