    • Laide Bakare faced criticism for her outfits and makeup at her book launch on March 3, followed by an after party at a club.

Nigerian actress and book author Eniola Badmus has responded to her colleague’s allegations and remarks about her.

Remember how Eniola Badmus attacked Laide Bakare for allegedly insulting her for being childless.

The controversy began when Laide Bakare answered concerns from fans and colleagues about her clothing and makeup during her book launch on Sunday afternoon, March 3, at Piccadilly Lekki, followed by an after party at 10 p.m. at the club.

Laide Bakare’s colleagues, including Odunlade Adekola, Mercy Aigbe, Seyi Edun, and Mistura Asunramu, congratulated her on her achievements.

However, Laide specifically fingered Eniola for joining the critics’ bandwagon by releasing screenshots of the latter purportedly mocking her. Eniola said in the post’s comments that Laide insulted her for not having children and supporting President Bola Tinubu.

In response to her charges in the comments section, Laide Bakare stated that Eniola Badmus was the first to call her unprintable things. She advised her not to assume she was now finer and better than her, but immediately discredited her claim that she was childless.

    Laide Bakare wrote:

“@eniola_badmus remember I’m not God I can’t create mosquito 🦟. Not to talk of child. so l won’t do that. Na you first Come my DM to call me Devil 👿 o, And several unprinted Names.

You are Always first to do sha.
