A video shows how a food vendor discovered a way to adapt to Nigeria’s continued hardship and rising food prices by neatly packing Indomie noodles in nylons and selling them to his customers.
In light of the country’s economic circumstances, the price of Indomie noodles, a popular fast food in Nigeria enjoyed by both young and elderly, has risen to three times its normal price.
In the video, it appeared that the trader, in order to reduce the cost of Indomie, decreased the regular content of the Industry-packed noodles to small-sized own, packed within transparent nylons.
The nylon-packed noodles were displayed in transparent white buckets, well-measured, with other goods such as garri, sugar, and many more, on the food seller’s table.
The video elicited massive reactions from Nigerians, with many finding the trader’s initiative amusing. Many people expressed their experiences with the unexpected increase in food items in the country.
