Nigerian artist Naira Marley has responded to serious accusations made by his former label dancer, Lil Smart.

On December 8th, Lil Smart publicly accused both Zinoleesky and Naira Marley of kidnapping, physical assault, and theft.

In a heartfelt revelation, Lil Smart took to his Instagram stories to claim that Naira Marley and Zinoleesky had planned his abduction, subjected him to severe physical harm, and stolen his possessions, which included $300 in cash, his wallet, and the key to his residence. He recounted his escape from their captivity while unclothed, ultimately receiving assistance on a crowded street.

In light of these grave allegations, Naira Marley shared a conversation with his former DJ, Splash, on his Instagram story.

In the exchange, DJ Splash extended Christmas and New Year greetings to Naira Marley.

Naira Marley noted in Yoruba that DJ Splash was the first individual to convey such wishes to him this year.

It is worth mentioning that during the turmoil surrounding Mohbad’s death, DJ Splash’s situation gained attention, with Iyabo Ojo and other Nigerians reaching out to offer support.

There were rumors suggesting that Naira Marley had employed ‘Juju’ against Splash, which purportedly affected his current state. However, it is noteworthy that DJ Splash and Naira Marley continue to maintain a friendly rapport.

In relation to the ongoing situation, Nigerian singer Oniyide Azeez Adigun, known as Zinoleesky, has firmly responded to the recent allegations made by former Marlian Records artist, Idowu Smart Emmanuel, also referred to as Lil Smart.

In a now-deleted Instagram post, Zinoleesky did not hold back, accusing Lil Smart of seeking attention by using his name. Expressing disbelief, he categorically denied the allegations and asserted that he had not encountered Lil Smart in several years.

The Marlian signee, clearly exasperated by the ongoing drama, committed to allowing the legal system to address the matter. He announced his intention to pursue legal action against Lil Smart and issued a serious admonition for the dancer to prepare for the repercussions of his allegations.
