Controversial Nigerian singer, Azeez Fashola, popularly called Naira Marley has reacted for the first time after he was reportedly arrested and convicted by an Abuja court for breaking COVID-19 rule.
It would be recalled that Naira Marley had a concert in Abuja where he flew his crew from Lagos to perform at the Jabi Lake Mall.
On Friday, August, 7, a Naira Marley was fined N200k by a Federal Capital Territory court in Abuja for flouting presidential Task Force guidelines on COVID-19.
He was also ordered by the court to render a public apology to the Federal Government of Nigerian that must be published in the national newspaper.
Reacting to all his police case and encounter with the law, the ‘Aye’ singer claimed that the Police is not an alien but a companion.
He wrote:
“Police is my friend, Naira Marley and Police 5&6”
