“Naira Marley & Sam Larry made life unbearable for Mohbad” – Wunmi Aloba reveals

  • Wunmi, the widow of Mohbad, has disclosed her husband’s struggles due to the alleged actions of Marlian Record boss Naira Marley and associate Sam Larry.
    • Mohbad, born Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, tragically passed away in September 2023 under controversial circumstances, sparking nationwide outcry and demanding a thorough investigation.
    • Wunmi expressed deep concern about the impact of Mohbad’s troubled past on their son, Liam, in an interview with Chude Jideonwo.

Wunmi, the widow of the late Mohbad, has once again shared her insights regarding her husband’s challenges, which she attributes to the alleged actions of Naira Marley, the head of Marlian Records, and his associate, Sam Larry.

Mohbad, whose full name was Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, sadly passed away in September 2023 under circumstances that have raised significant controversy. His untimely death ignited widespread public outcry, with fans and activists calling for a comprehensive investigation.

In an interview with media figure Chude Jideonwo, Wunmi articulated her profound worries about how Mohbad’s difficult experiences may affect their son, Liam.

In her words, “Naira Marley and Sam Larry cannot deny the fact that they made life unbearable for my husband. The videos online cannot be erased, and Liam will grow up to see them. I pray he doesn’t grow up to be traumatized because he will see how his dad was beaten. Even me, it breaks me, but at this point, I am fighting for my life and my son’s life.”

Wunmi also disclosed that Mohbad’s father has aligned himself with Naira Marley and Sam Larry, a situation she believes has obstructed the pursuit of genuine justice.

“Mohbad’s dad has been on Naira Marley’s side. He is speaking for them and trying to save them. Up till now, Justice for Mohbad has not been gotten, and the justice Mohbad’s dad is looking for is different from the justice the public is looking for,” she added.

Despite the ongoing legal actions and mounting public pressure, Wunmi maintains that true justice has yet to be achieved.
