It has been announced that individuals involved in the sexual assault allegations against Diddy will soon be identified.
During a press conference on Tuesday in Houston, attorney Tony Buzbee indicated that the “day will come” when he will disclose the names of other alleged offenders and witnesses linked to Combs’ purported illegal actions.
“We will expose the enablers who enabled this conduct behind closed doors. We will pursue this matter no matter who the evidence implicates,” stated Buzbee, who represents over 100 alleged victims of the Bad Boy Records founder.
“The day will come when we will name names other than Sean Combs, and there’s a lot of names. It’s a long list already, but because of the nature of this case, we are going to make damn sure – damn sure – that we’re right before we do that,” he continued, adding, “The names will shock you.”
Buzbee mentioned that he intends to initiate lawsuits in various states within the next 30 days, promising to disclose the additional defendants at a later time.
He expressed his intention to identify the “bystanders” and willing participants who “encouraged” the alleged misconduct and “fueled it” alongside Combs.
“These people who know who they are should just come forward now,” Buzbee urged. “I would imagine that as we speak here, there are a myriad of people who are very nervous. You can’t hide skeletons in the closet forever. I would expect there are many people out there right now who are desperately searching their memories as they delete their texts and data.”
Buzbee asserted that these incidents occurred at Combs’ annual White Parties, hotels, and various other locations, with 25 of the accusers being minors at the time. He claimed that the youngest alleged victim was merely 9 years old.
He further alleged that “there’s a common theme here,” highlighting the involvement of drugs.
Buzbee stated that many of the accusers reported being drugged, with claims of horse tranquilizer detected in their systems following the parties they attended.
“As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus,” Erica Wolff, an attorney for Combs, provided a statement to Page Six on Tuesday.
“That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors.
He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court if and when claims are filed and served, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”
The 54-year-old rapper-turned-mogul was apprehended last month on allegations of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking through force, fraud, or coercion, and transportation for the purpose of engaging in prostitution.
Despite entering a plea of not guilty, he was denied bail and continues to be held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
