Media figure Nancy Isime shared her early worries about becoming famous and the attention that comes with it.

During an episode of the CreativiTEA podcast, she discussed her past anxiety about being in the limelight.

She recalled how the pressure of public and media attention made her nervous

Isime pointed out that popular blogs often give their views on celebrities, which increased her worries.

“I was actually very scared of the limelight. When I started working, I used to see how a popular blog would pick random stories about famous people, and people would give unsolicited opinions. It seemed like it was okay to do that, but I was already worried about fame. I was just a kid who wanted to work”, she said.

She stated that her ambition for financial independence inspired her to pursue her dreams.

Isime, hailing from a modest background, was eager to generate her own income and avoid depending on others, stressing the need for self-sufficiency.

“I have always been the child who saw herself making her own money; maybe because I came from a humble background where asking for anything felt like a taboo. You just knew there wasn’t any money. I am a huge believer in spending on myself, because I don’t want anyone to feel like without them, I wouldn’t have the life I have,” she said.
