In other news, Popular Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has shared insight into her personal life, revealing why marriage is not on the table in her relationship with well-known Nigerian music executive, Paulo. During a candid chat on TVC, the actress explained that their relationship is built on mutual respect and understanding, but it doesn’t include plans for marriage.

According to Iyabo, both she and Paulo have reached a point in their lives where they know exactly what they want, and tying the knot isn’t necessary for them to be happy together. She made it clear that their arrangement works perfectly and that they’re both content with how things are.

One of the key reasons she ruled out the idea of marriage is her deep appreciation for personal space and privacy. Iyabo said she values her independence and feels that being married might compromise that freedom.

The actress also noted that societal pressure doesn’t influence her decisions, and she prefers to do what feels right for her, regardless of what others may expect.

Explaining the dynamics of their relationship, she said, “Because of the nature of my work, I’m such a workaholic, and Paulo is also a workaholic. That Igbo man likes to work. For me, there are times when I want to be alone, I just pack my bags and return back to my house. We never fight over that because he understands.

    “We don’t want marriage.”
