According to Professor Maurice Iwu, 13 members of the Imo State House of Assembly have tested positive for the Covid-19 infection.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Monday, June 22, announced 9 new cases in Imo, totalling the cases in Imo to 243.
In the latest testing conducted, 13 more lawmakers have added up to the list of Covid-19 infected lawmakers.
The chairman of the state’s Covid-19 task force, Professor Maurice Iwu, announced that a member of the house of assembly results came back positive and is currently in isolation at home.
