NECO 2020: National Common Entrance Examination Results Released
The results of the 2020 National Common Entrance Examination organized by the National Examinations Council (NECO) has been released.
This was revealed on Monday by the Registrar and Chief Executive of NECO, Godswill Obioma, while presenting the results to the Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu, in Abuja.
According to the NECO boss, the national cut off mark for this year is set at 142.
Sharing a further breakdown of the results, Obioma stated that of the 70,580 candidates that sat for the examination nationwide, 24,416 candidates passed, scoring a minimum of 66.
He also listed three students who recorded the highest scores in the examination
They are Umeonyiagu Chinua Crucifixio, Anambra who scored 199, Onwuamanam Udochukwu, Enugu who scored 198 while Salaam Mariam Aderemilekun, Lagos scored 197.
16,713 candidates were absent from the examination due to the #EndSARS protests that rocked the country recently.
