Amid ongoing discussions, Nedu Wazobia, a famous Nigerian media personality, has refuted allegations that he was terminated from the popular podcast, The Honest Bunch.
In a recent press conference, he stated that his decision to leave was voluntary and not a result of being forced out.
He highlighted that he wanted to safeguard the podcast’s integrity due to increasing personal attacks.
“Let me straighten something out—I was not fired from The Honest Bunch, I was never fired. I decided to step away when the attacks became very personal so that the show can go on. I was not fired,” he stated.
Nedu defended the podcast’s unbiased nature, pointing out that the opinions shared come exclusively from the guests.
“Every opinion shared on this platform is the opinion of the guest, not of the show itself. Everyone has the right to an opinion and the right to report,” he added.
His remarks follow accusations from online personality VeryDarkMan, who alleged that Nedu requested sex from women for roles. VeryDarkMan also mentioned having a list of celebrities linked to Nedu.
These allegations led to much speculation, but Nedu opted not to publicly address the claims.
Addressing the situation, Nedu stated:
“A lot of things have been going on left, right, and center, but I am going to say this—I am not one to indulge in petty exchanges of words. That’s not who I am. It has never been my style, and it will never be my style to jab words with people on social media.”
Even with the surrounding controversy, Nedu keeps his focus on his career, proving his dedication to his craft and steering clear of social media issues.
