Nollywood star Yul Edochie has sparked a major reaction online, as fans express their anger following his recent post where he vented about public family criticism.

His frustration was triggered by his older brother, Linc Edochie, who appeared on KOK Live, hosted by Kanayo O. Kanayo.

During the show, Kanayo asked Linc about Yul’s controversial marriage to Judy Austin, which led Linc to openly criticize his brother’s decisions and advise him to avoid sharing his relationship on social media.

Yul was deeply affected by the strong public statement. He expressed his anger on Instagram, criticizing what he viewed as a family betrayal.

Upset by Linc’s comments and Kanayo’s questions, Yul stated it was “foolish and damaging” for a family member to speak out against another.

He unleashed a torrent of harsh insults towards Linc and even hinted at his disapproval of Kanayo for conducting the interview that he believed violated family privacy.

He wrote in parts;

“Never castigate your family in public.

Never, that’s the sign of a weak person. Since you don’t know, let me educate you.

“The stupid person that sat you down to discuss your family, tell him to discuss his own family first”

Yul reinforced his view by showcasing Davido and his uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, as a perfect example of family unity in the public sphere.

His words;

“You no dey see Davido and his uncle? Once you see them in public they are hugging, dancing and happy. Any matter wey dey na inside house dem dey treat am”
