The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle has revealed that she has Nigerian roots, as she shares that she is 43% Nigerian.
This information came to light following the latest episode of her Spotify podcast, Archetypes.
The royale disclosed that after taking a genealogy test to find out more about her family descent, she discovered she is 43 % Nigerian.
Her guests on the show were Issa Rae, Emily Bernard, and Ziwe Fumodoh, as they discussed their experiences as Black women around the topic “angry Black woman”.
The Duchess of Sussex says that she will continue to dig deeper as everyone she has told, especially Nigerian women “are like What!”
