Chef Deo started a challenging 150-hour cookathon in an effort to break the record for the longest cooking marathon.

The situation, however, unexpectedly changed when a video of the chef napping in the kitchen went viral and received conflicting responses from viewers.

Chef deo from Ondo State entered the competition in an effort to break the current record and secure her place in culinary history. She was motivated by Chef Hilda Baci’s recent achievement, who set the record at 93 hours and 11 minutes.

As viewers tuned in to watch the chef attempt to beat the previous record, the cookathon, which had started on a determined note, quickly attracted attention.

But in one of the social media video clips going viral, Chef Deo was seen taking a quick nap in the middle of her exhausting cooking session.

The fact that the chef took a nap was interpreted by some as a sign that the difficult task at hand might have proven more difficult than anticipated, casting doubt on the chef’s ability to successfully complete the arduous cookathon.
