Pastor David Ibiyeomie of Salvation Ministries advises his congregation to refrain from accepting financial assistance from senior pastors, as this may diminish their blessings.
Ibiyeomie asserts that such actions lack scriptural backing and could impede one’s financial success.
In a video message directed at his church members, Ibiyeomie highlighted the significance of giving to senior pastors instead of receiving from them.
He elaborated that investing financially in the lives of senior ministers can lead to divine blessings and pave the way for increased prosperity.
David Ibiyeomie stated,
“May I tell you one raw truth? It may be hard, but never collect money from a senior man of God. You are reducing your blessing.”
Pastor Ibiyeomie referenced his personal experiences, noting that he has never sought financial assistance from his spiritual mentor, Bishop David Oyedepo, even during challenging times.
“I’ll be the last person to collect a dime from Oyedepo, not because challenges have not come. That’s not how it works,” he said.
The cleric added …
“There are senior men to me today, and I can sow into their lives. But I will not go and say, ‘Pastor Femi, can you please help me?’ It’s not scriptural. Don’t collect money from a senior man of God; you are reducing your prosperity. Sow into the senior man of God to draw virtue for the next level”
